I found that working with many of my wedding vendors was stressful but it was the complete opposite for Captivating Complexion. it was honestly a pleasure working with them. Since my first inquiry, they were very responsive and organized in their communication and booking process. And it just kept getting better from there. I loved meeting the ladies at the studio during my trial and knew I had made the best choice! They are all so friendly, positive, empowering, and fun to spend time with on top of the fact that they are so talented and clearly invest the time to perfect their skills. Molly listened to my request and spent the time to discuss what I was looking for during the trial and she was receptive when I asked to make a couple of adjustments. When the wedding day came, Molly & Taylor absolutely crushed it! They completed 11 looks before 1pm and each one was stunning! I’ve been in a lot of weddings and always felt like I had to do touch ups after…not one girl made changes to their looks after their makeup was done. Each bridesmaid said how impressed and happy they were with their makeup, saying it was the best they’ve ever had (even in their own weddings!) I couldn’t have been happier with my look. It was natural, not too heavy and it lasted all day and night in 90 degree weather.Coming from an indecisive bride that overcomplicated every decision, if you have any hesitation in choosing Captivating Complexion for your wedding, don’t waste another moment and book them! You won’t regret it!

Meg was such a delight to work with! She filled the room with such positive energy and worked with all my makeup wants and needs. My entire bridal crew was so impressed with her too and loved their makeup! I have never felt more beautiful and got so many compliments! I couldn’t believe the makeup stayed all night long even through the rain and staying hot throughout the night. We loved our experience! I truly couldn’t recommend her enough. A true blessing!

Captivating complexion are amazing! Tai was my makeup artist for my wedding and not only was she unbelievably lovely, professional, and fun, she was also a fantastic makeup artist. All my bridesmaids had slightly different looks that fit with what they wanted, Tai was so kind to my mother who was very anxious about getting professionally done makeup for the first time in her life (she looked beautiful), and she made me look unbelievably gorgeous. Plus the makeup lasted through tears, intense laughing, and a lot of dancing (and sweating)!! Great process for getting what I needed - the trial was good and Tai remembered the changes I requested. I could not recommend them enough and am now looking for excuses to get my makeup done professionally again!

As a wedding photographer, I just HAVE to share how blown away I was by Meg's work. Upon walking into the bridal suite and seeing this bride's makeup I was STUNNED. She absolutely nailed the glam look the bride was going for and it looked absolutely amazing in photos. If you're looking for a makeup artist Meg has got you covered!

I had such a great experience working with Molly and Captivating Complexion. To start, she is so sweet and genuine, and asked me questions at my trial regarding my skin type and everyday preferences to help me decide and achieve my perfect wedding day makeup look! She made me feel like an elevated version of myself and I felt so beautiful! She also let me make any changes and didn’t hesitate to make sure I was happy. On my day, she was efficient and warm, and made me feel so special, and had each member of my bridal party looking amazing, too! I loved my entire makeup look and felt so beautiful on my big day.

I was an August bride in Charlottesville and found Meg via IG. I’m a makeup girly and knew I wanted full glam and babyyyyy, did Meg deliver! I gave her total freedom after showing her my dress and telling her to paint me like picasso. Why hire someone and not trust them to do what they do best! On my 86 degree wedding day, not only was I full glam and felling myself, the secret sauce she uses left me without a drippity drop of sweat on my face. We did a pool jump at the end of the night, and yes, you guessed it- I emerged with a flawless face after full dunk. I didn't even need to retouch it for my after party. She did my rehearsal makeup for my pink disco as well. I told her pink and she took it from there. The way I looked like an Adele Barbie - iconic. Once you go Meg, you never go back. I wish I could have her with me every day. Not to mention, she is so warm and fun and gives all the bestie vibes.

I had high expectations for my wedding makeup and Molly quickly surpassed those at the trial and even more so on the actual big day when we decided to go a little more glam! She is so fun and easy to talk to and obviously super talented!

All I can say is WOW! Meg seriously hit it out of the park. She has such a great range. She did everything from full glam on me and another bridesmaid to mother of the bride makeup to very natural for a couple of the other bridesmaids. It was hard for me to trust another person to do my makeup, especially on such an important day, but I put all my faith in her and it seriously paid off. My makeup looked absolutely incredible and it stayed put all night. She is able to do literally whatever you are looking for. I asked for my eyes to pop, smooth skin, and lots of blush. She did a great job at the makeup trial but took it to a whole other level on the day of.
